Francisco Romero Cáceres (Spain)

My name is Francisco Romero Cáceres, born in southern Andalusia in a small village known as El Rocío, belonging to the municipality of Almonte (Huelva).
Next to this small town lies the Doñana National Park, known as one of the most important wetlands in Europe, consisting of several ecosystems harbouring extraordinary biodiversity. Because of this place, I became interested in the wildlife that lives there. Especially because of the birds that visit this national park every year and, of course, the Iberian lynx, the most endangered feline on the planet! This is one of the places where it has stayed and where the species has been able to recover until today. 
Also, I have also travelled all over the world, interested in the nature of every part of our planet.

Currently, I am part of the team of ambassadors of Sigma Spain, in the nature modality, and give several lectures throughout the year with the brand at the fairs organised at the national level. I also organise several workshops throughout the year in different photographic disciplines.

I am currently working with the stock agency of the Doñana nature reserve, which are used for dissemination and awareness-raising in today's society. I have also participated as a jury member in several photography competitions and have been lucky enough to win some of them and get several entries in others. My main goal always remains creating awareness for planetary conservation.
